Who is Entrust?
Entrust was established to enable new donors to tap into the expertise, experience and partnerships we have developed through running Mission Enterprises. With 30 years experience in philanthropy, Mission Enterprises has helped fund over 875 projects in 29 countries and distributed over $2o million.
Who runs Entrust?
Entrust is run by Mission Enterprises (Vic) Ltd an established not-for-profit organisation. Richard Beaumont and Adrian Price are they key drivers of Entrust and they report to the Board of Mission Enterprises which comprises experienced directors that contribute further expertise.
Legal Structure?
Entrust Foundation is the ATO Registered fund for Tax Deductible gifts. Entrust Projects is for donations that do NOT require a tax receipt. Both funds are subject to external audits, ATO and ASIC regulations and report to the Board of Mission Enterprises (Vic) Ltd.
Will Entrust profit from my donation?
Entrust makes no charge for its administration costs, these are covered by Mission Enterprises. As well as this assistance Mission Enterprises contributes extra funds to every Entrust project. For every $100 given, we ensure $115 gets to the project.
How do you select projects?
We connect closely with known partners who are already working in the hard-to-get-to places and have local knowledge, cultural sensitivity and a proven track record. They sign a partner agreement with Entrust promising to operate with integrity & transparency and comply with pre-agreed reporting standards.
Who are your mission partners?
They range from small unknown grass-roots NGO's (Non Government Organisations) to mid sized Aid, Development and Mission Organisations. We have a close personal relationship with all our partner organisations and are in touch with them on a regular basis.
To whom do I make my donation payable to?
For donations that require a tax deductible receipt, first see the project description to ensure the project is deductible and then make your payment "Entrust Foundation". Gifts NOT requiring a Tax Deductible receipt should be made payable to "Entrust Projects" .
Are all Entrust projects tax deductible?
Due to the varying nature and complexity of our projects some are and some are not Tax deductible. This fact is made clear on the Project profile page on our web site.
Can I submit a project for funding?
We struggle to meet all the demands already placed on us. If you feel your project is, strategic, highly leveraged, cutting edge, run on Christian principals and will make a long term difference in the lives of individuals - in predominantly developing nations, email us a brief summary for review. If we wish to take it further we will get in touch with you. Please note our policy does not allow us to fund personal support, vehicles and airfares. All partners must have a legally constituted structure. |
